The Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, with thousands of respected individuals expected to attend. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present as part of a team of priests conducting the main ritual of ‘Pran Pratishtha.’ The event will be broadcasted live on Doordarshan and other channels from 7 am to 1 pm.
The consecration ceremony will be live streamed on DD News TV channel and Doordarshan National’s YouTube handle. Footage from various locations, including Ram’s Padi, Kuber Tila, and Jatayu Pratima near Sarayu Ghat, will be broadcasted.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony for Ram Lala is scheduled for Monday morning, with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries. The city is now more heavily guarded, with special officers stationed in strategic locations.
Police are patrolling the Sarayu River by boat, and bomb disposal squads and dog squads are stationed at the Maharshi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya. Stringent checks are being conducted on vehicles arriving and departing from the airport, with no entry allowed without proper authorization.
In the past few days, Ayodhya has been adorned with saffron flags of various sizes fluttering on buildings, and nearly all buildings and shops along the Ram Path are decorated. The streets of Ayodhya are filled with songs like ‘Ram Aayenge’ and ‘Ram Aaye Hain’ due to the arrival of devotees and respected individuals.
